Crochet Lacy Fans Scarf, Crochet Video Tutorial

Starting a crochet Youtube channel has been such a blessing to me! I enjoy making crochet tutorials and sharing my work with other crocheters! I appreciate all the feedback and suggestions my viewers give me, which help me grow as a crochet designer.

The scarf that I'm sharing today was a viewer's request. She asked for a tutorial of a fans stitch, as she would like to make a blanket with fan's design.

Of course, in crochet there are endless creative possibilities, and there can literally be hundreds of variations of a fans stitch.

This is what I came up with - a lacy fan's stitch with four repeating rows.

I used this stitch to make a scarf, but of course it can be easily adjusted to make a lacy blanket or throw, or any other project for that matter!

To make this scarf, I used one skein of Soft & Shiny yarn by Loops & Threads (about 300 yards), and a crochet hook size H (5 mm).

My scarf came out 50 inches long and 8 inches wide.
