Crochet Baby Blanket and Hat Set, New Crochet Patterns

I have two new patterns fresh off my hook!

And it was a big size hook!

Which is surprising as oftentimes I use smaller size hooks, so that my stitches come out neat and tight!

Well, not this time! I purposefully used a larger size hook (size I, 5.5 mm) with a baby sport (category 2) yarn to achieve a soft, lacy texture!

And I'm really happy with the results!

Both the blanket and hat turned out soft and airy!

The video tutorials for the hat and blanket are available on Youtube!

And the written patterns are available in my Etsy and Ravelry shops!

Lacy Scarf with Puff Stitches Crochet Video Tutorial

I find something really comforting in crocheting puff stitches!

I've made quite a bunch of scarves with lace and puff stitch designs recently, and now I've made just one more!

The pattern for this scarf has only two repeating rows! The pattern can be easily adjusted to many other crochet projects!

I'm thinking of trying this pattern using crochet cotton thread size 10, and perhaps making a lacy table runner.

The yarn that I used for this scarf is Soft Yarn by Red Heart, and the hook is size I (5.5 mm).

Easy Crochet Vest with Big Collar, Crochet Video Tutorial

Hello, hello crocheting friends!

Are you ready for fall? I certainly am!

Not only I made myself a comfy and cozy popcorns sweater (see my previous post here), but also a nice and stylish vest with a big collar!

The pattern is very easy! And the construction of this piece is a simple tube with holes for arms! That's it!

What plays a big role here is the yarn! We need a very stretchy and soft texture for this vest to fit nicely! But not every yarn will create such texture!

The yarn that I used is Unforgettable by Red Heart!

This vest can be made in any size!

I created a detailed vide tutorial, and the written pattern is available in my Etsy shop

Happy October and Happy Crocheting!
