Not only I made myself a comfy and cozy popcorns sweater (see my previous post here), but also a nice and stylish vest with a big collar! 

The pattern is very easy! And the construction of this piece is a simple tube with holes for arms! That's it! 

What plays a big role here is the yarn! We need a very stretchy and soft texture for this vest to fit nicely! But not every yarn will create such texture!

Autumn finally arrived to Northern California! And it was quite sudden! The temperature dropped from 90s to 70s! 

But that's ok! I'm ready for fall!

I crocheted myself several garments to keep me warm and cozy during chilly days! 

And one of them is this chunky, oversized crochet sweater with popcorns! 

Crocheting popcorns is so much! Yes, they are yarn-eaters, but they create such lovely texture and look! 

At first, I intended to make this sweater as something to wear around the house on cold autumn and winter days. But I really like the way it turned out! 

With jeans and boots, this is a quite decent outfit for running errands as well!

Crochet Cocoon Cardigan, All Sizes, Plus Sizes

Hello Crochet Friends! 

I hope you are all enjoying summer! I'd say it's going by way too fast! 

Autumn is going to be here before we know it! So it's time to start crocheting warmer garments! 

Today I'd like to share my recent creation - a cocoon cardigan! 

I'm sure you've seen cocoon cardigans before; they are quite popular right now! 

But this is the first that I ever made! I chose my own stitch and made all the calculations for different sizes (from XS to 4XL). 

I worked with category 4, worsted weight (10 ply) yarn and a hook size H (5 mm).
