New Baby Dress in Progress

I usually work on three-four crochet projects at a time, so that when I get bored with one, I can switch to working on another.
One of my current projects is a lace baby dress. And oh boy, I have unraveled and started over so many times. But finally it begins to look what I want it to look like :)

The yarn I'm working with is Woolike by Loops &Threads (85% acrylic 15% nylon). It's category one yarn. The color is ivory.

Since it's a super fine yarn, the work is progressing slowly, even when I don't do unraveling. The stitches are small and completing even one round takes some time. So having other crochet projects on hand is nice.

But this dress is coming out very soft and light in texture. There is still a long way to go before it will be finished, but I cannot wait to see how it will turn out. I plan to add more lace to the shoulders and to the collar.

What crochet project are you working on right now? And how many projects do you have started at the same time?

  1. Hi Olga I just finished crocheting a Sunglass case and I always have a few going at once too so that I'm not bored. What a pretty dress you are working on. It will be gorgeous when finished.

    1. I'm trying to stick with the hook recommended for this yarn, which is 3.5 mm.

  7. This little dress is so lovely. I have yet to try to crochet a baby dress. I have a little niece who is about 17 months old, and clearly she needs one from her auntie. If I can manage one from one of your designs, I will share photos.
I also want to add Olga, that I am so glad for you, that you have not given up your blog, and sharing your lovely designs with us. I hope you are having a very good summer.
