This is the chart for the mini doily in the previous post. I apologize for its poor quality. I tried my best to sketch it, but I am not exactly an artist! I do hope to buy a symbol-chart making software one day.
I tried the pattern today with pink thread number 10. The doily turned out 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter.

So pretty. I want to try this after the holidays. Thank you for sharing your pattern (chart). It looks nice in the petal pink; very soft and feminine.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this lovely pattern. I'm trying to make a rug with some massive yarn and a huge 20mm hook and this looks like the kind of pattern I'm after! (I've just blogged about my first attempt- it was too small!)
ReplyDeleteI think your chart looks clear and it's great to have a picture of the finished product to compare it to. (and it looks very cute in pink too!)
Have a wonderful New Year!
Xx
Thank you for the lovely pattern! It's such a pretty doily. I think the chart is great and of very nice quality. I've never used a chart before, I always use written out instructions. but I was able to follow your chart easily and now have a very pretty doily to show for it. :) Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteI would Love to Surprise my little Grand Daughter with this. But I just don't think I will be able to understand how to read the pattern right. It really is pretty. Would you happen to have this pattern written out? I would be able to understand it that way. If you do and would share it with me. My email is cindymarshall63 at hotmail dot com Thanks
