Row 1: please explain how the 2dc-cluster works? How do I keep it all in the same stitch? :-)
I
took a close-up picture of clusters in Row 1. The photo shows the following
instructions:
(2-dc
cluster, ch 1, 2-dc cluster, ch 1, 2-dc cluster) all in next ch
Remember
that a 2-dc cluster is two unfinished dc worked into same space (or same stitch), then finished together.
Here
are the step-by-step instructions for it:
1.
Yarn over, insert hook in stitch, draw yarn through the stitch, yarn over, draw
through 2 loops on the hook. You now have 2 loops on the hook left.
2.
Yarn over, insert hook in same stitch,
draw yarn through the stitch, yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook.
You now have 3 loops on the hook.
3.
Yarn over, pull loop through all 3 loops on hook. Your 2-dc cluster is made!
The green looks so lovely and the picture says it all for the instructions.

How is the second row done? How many do I chain when moving onto second row. Sorry for the basic question im a beginner in crochetting. Btw beautiful pattern and blanket.
ReplyDeleteHi, sorry I can't photograph and make tutorial of each row. It takes lots and lots of time.
DeleteThis is an advanced level pattern, and if you are a beginner, this is probably not the best pattern to start. I have some other free baby blanket patterns on my blog, much easier ones, you can check them out here: http://lacycrochet.blogspot.com/p/free-baby.html
Thank you , Olga! I'll have a look!
