  1. Lovely rose in a pretty color. I recently made a scarf with pineapple design and Irish roses at the ends.

  3. Just wanted you to know....I'm not a crocheter. I'm trying, by learning off the internet. Some things really confuse me but by coming across your blog recently and seeing all the beautiful items you make, it inspires me to keep working at it. Thank you for sharing your talent!

    2. My gram taught me the basics when I was little...chain, single and double crochet. The rest is self taught.... Many a crooked blanket, unmatched booties, but practice makes better! You will amaze yourself if you keep trying :)

Love this pattern. Making it to add to a baby dress I crocheted.

  7. I think the 1979 Reader's Digest Association stole your Irish Rose pattern. It is the same pattern in my book, from them, called Complete Guide To Needlework.

  8. I didn't claim this pattern to be mine. Irish crochet has been around since 19th century. Aren't vintage patterns in public domain?

  9. I am so very happy with the patterns you are sharing! Your work is beautiful, and I hope I can tackle some of these more difficult (for me at least)projects to look as beautiful as the work you do. Thank you again for the patterns!
