I made this flower bookmark from simple thread flowers.
See the flower tutorial here.
I simply stitched seven flowers together in a row.
Next I used DMC size 8 pearl cotton thread and size 10
steel hook to connect all the petals with ch 9 loops.
Finally, I made 7 sc in each loop around.
Voila! I now have one more crochet bookmark in my
collection!

Pretty! Hmm... I see a choker necklace in the same pattern! Might be cute.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I was also thinking that a hair band in white with tiny pearl beads in this same pattern would make a lovely accessory for a girl.
DeleteSo delicate and beautiful! Love the colors too!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good weekend!

Lovely bookmark!! Do you make them firm or use them as soft?
ReplyDeleteI used to starch bookmarks, but I actually like the soft look/feel, so I don't bother anymore. Though if I were to give a bookmark as a gift, I would definitively stiffen it.
ReplyDeletePerfect !
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend !

Ольга очень красивая закладка! Я тоже предпочитаю закладки, да и салфетки оставлять мягкими, то есть не крахмалить.
