Lacy Summer Scarf with Treble Shells, Crochet Pattern and Video Tutorial

Here in Northern California it already feels like summer! My favorite yarn to work with during hot summer months is 100% mercerized cotton, either category 2 or 3.

I like crocheting light airy scarves and shawls in lacy designs.

The first such scarf of this summer is worked with treble shells.

The scarf has a beautiful soft drape!

The skill level is advanced beginner! There are only two repeating rows in the pattern, which are easy to remember. The treble shells look lovely facing both up and down.

On the ends of the scarf, I used double crochets for a simple, yet classy edge, which gives the scarf a sophisticated and finished look.

The yarn that I used for this scarf is YarnArt Begonia. This is a category 2, 100% mercerized cotton, which comes in a huge variety of beautiful colors.

The hook size is D (3.25 mm)

The written pattern for this scarf is available in my Etsy and Ravelry shops.

And as always with my patterns, I also filmed a detailed video tutorial, which is available free on my Youtube channel
