Aunt Lydia's Thread Size 3 Small Doily, Free Crochet Pattern by Olga Poltava

Today I have a new doily pattern to share!

This is a doily that would be very suitable for beginners. First of all, it's a very simple design and there are only 14 rounds in the pattern.

It is made with a bigger size hook (D/3, 3.25 mm) and crochet cotton thread size 3, which should be more comfortable to work with for beginners (rather than the traditional thread size 10).

I love the way my doily turned out. Simple, but lovely.

It fits my fruit basket perfectly!

  2. Beautiful again! I have enjoyed making some of your patterns from etsy and would like to use some of the free doily patterns also. Somehow, though, Word will not copy your pictures. Do you have any ideas?

    1. Hi Marie, try this:
Save the photos on your computer, then insert them in the Word document.
      Hope this will work!

    2. I did try it, but somehow it just ties up the word document, and I have to restart the computer. Thanks for the effort. :)

    3. I'm sorry, I don't really know why that is happening.

  3. Beautiful doily, Olga!:) Thanks for sharing! It looks beautiful in the basket without fruits. The fruits are hiding the lovely design.
