Easy Beginner's Crochet Baby Blanket with Puff Stitches, Crochet Video Tutorial and Written Pattern

This year I want to create more of beginner friendly crochet patterns and tutorials!

This baby blanket is quite simple and beginners who know the basic stitches such as chains, slip stitches, single crochets, and double crochets. The only advanced stitch used here is the puff stitch!

I made the puff stitches in this pattern tilted, but they are not too difficult to make.

But the time you finish this blanket, you'll fully master puff stitches!

I made my blanket 33 by 33 inches, but the pattern can be easily adjusted to any custom size.

I used light worsted (category 3) 100% acrylic yarn and I worked with a hook size G (4.25 mm).

Specifically I used Snuggl Wuggly by Loops & Threads (1200 yards in total).

Worsted weight yarns (category 4) yarns should work too!

The design of this blanket is suitable for baby girls as well as baby boys! I think it looks lovely in any color, and possibly even in stripes!

The video tutorial is available on my YouTube channel, and the written pattern is in my Etsy and Ravelry shops!

Happy crocheting!
