Ruby Lace Crochet Scarf New Pattern and Video Tutorial, Knitcrate April 2020

Each months I receive a subscription box from Knitcrate to do box opening and review and create a project with their beautiful yarn.

This month's yarn is Uru Yarn Sugared Sport, and the colorway that I received is Ruby (thus the name of my scarf).

It is 70% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon, and 10% Stellina (which is a thin metallic strand that creates a sparkle effect).

There is 300 yards of yarn in one skien, so two skeins were enough to create my lace scarf.

If you subscribe to Knitcrate through my affiliate link and use the coupon code OLGA20, you will get 20% off your first subscription and I will receive a small commission at no cost to you!

Or here is the best choice of substitute yarn that I could find! This yarn also has a metallic strand to add some sparkle, but this is a slightly heavier yarn (category 2), so be sure to use a slightly larger size hook.

I used size E (3.5 mm) hook and my scarf came out about 70 inches long and 12 inches wide.

And the written pattern is available in my Etsy and Ravelry shops.
